ESASCCO is committed to strengthening SACCOs by building their operational capacity, financial resilience, and leadership effectiveness. Through strategic support and development programs, we help transform the lives of members, uplift communities, and ensure that SACCOs remain impactful, inclusive, and sustainable drivers of socio-economic growth<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Do\n\n\n\n\n\nWe provide tailor-made training, workshops, and coaching for SACCO leadership, staff, and committees. ESASCCO develops relevant HR policies, performance systems, and training modules to professionalize SACCO operations and build sustainable leadership structures. Our programs are aligned with both national employment legislation and cooperative principles.\n\n\nESASCCO empowers CFF-participating SACCOs with access to competitively low-interest loans, enabling them to effectively mobilize member savings and expand affordable lending options. Through the Extended CFF, we provide strategic, longer-term financing solutions designed to help SACCOs navigate financial challenges, enhance operational capacity, and deliver superior member services.\n\n\nESASCCO offers structured training programs for SACCO boards, management, and staff to enhance skills in governance, financial management, ICT, compliance, and member service. These capacity-building initiatives ensure that SACCOs operate efficiently, meet regulatory standards, and remain competitive in a dynamic financial sector.\n\n\n\n\nWe lead SACCO digitalisation efforts through integration with core banking systems like Mambu<\/strong>, mobile money solutions (e.g. *604# USSD in Eswatini, *120*<\/em>0135# in South Africa), EFT channels, and member portals. ESASCCO manages regional technical support, cybersecurity standards, and digital innovation to improve efficiency and financial inclusion.\n\n\nESASCCO facilitates independent conflict resolution and institutional governance audits to maintain harmony within SACCOs. We support board induction, election management, disciplinary procedures, and mediation services\u2014ensuring transparency, accountability, and good governance across the network.\n\n\nESASCCO facilitates access to affordable and inclusive insurance solutions tailored for SACCOs and their members, including loan protection, credit life, funeral cover, and asset insurance. ESASCCO organised a two\u2011day national workshop on Human Resources Management from 25\u201326 February 2025 at Sibane Hotel, attended by various SACCOs across the country<\/p>\n\n\n

Board members and ESASCCO management participated in a one\u2011day budgeting workshop held at the ECODEC conference room on 13 February 2025<\/p>\n\n\n

A procurement-focused workshop was conducted for SACCOs across Eswatini on 27\u201328 March 2025 to enhance their procurement processes and governance<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

ESASCCO’s AGM took place on 29 April 2025 at the George Hotel, bringing together leadership and member SACCO representatives for strategic planning and review<\/span> <\/p>\n\n\n

On March 13, 2025<\/strong>, ESASCCO leadership\u2014including the President and Executive Manager\u2014hosted the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade and the Commissioner of Cooperatives on a site tour of the new Kwakitsi building. This event highlighted progress toward modernizing ESASCCO\u2019s physical infrastructure and stakeholder engagement in capital projects.<\/p>\n\n\n
