What We Do
Capacity Building & Human Capital Development
We provide tailor-made training, workshops, and coaching for SACCO leadership, staff, and committees. ESASCCO develops relevant HR policies, performance systems, and training modules to professionalize SACCO operations and build sustainable leadership structures. Our programs are aligned with both national employment legislation and cooperative principles.
CFF Savings & Extended CFF Services
ESASCCO empowers CFF-participating SACCOs with access to competitively low-interest loans, enabling them to effectively mobilize member savings and expand affordable lending options. Through the Extended CFF, we provide strategic, longer-term financing solutions designed to help SACCOs navigate financial challenges, enhance operational capacity, and deliver superior member services.
Training & Professional Development
ESASCCO offers structured training programs for SACCO boards, management, and staff to enhance skills in governance, financial management, ICT, compliance, and member service. These capacity-building initiatives ensure that SACCOs operate efficiently, meet regulatory standards, and remain competitive in a dynamic financial sector.
ICT & Digital Transformation
We lead SACCO digitalisation efforts through integration with core banking systems like Mambu, mobile money solutions (e.g. *604# USSD in Eswatini, *120*0135# in South Africa), EFT channels, and member portals. ESASCCO manages regional technical support, cybersecurity standards, and digital innovation to improve efficiency and financial inclusion.
Conflict Resolution & Governance Support
ESASCCO facilitates independent conflict resolution and institutional governance audits to maintain harmony within SACCOs. We support board induction, election management, disciplinary procedures, and mediation services—ensuring transparency, accountability, and good governance across the network.
Insurance Services & Risk Protection
ESASCCO facilitates access to affordable and inclusive insurance solutions tailored for SACCOs and their members, including loan protection, credit life, funeral cover, and asset insurance. These services help SACCOs manage risk, enhance financial security, and build member trust through reliable protection mechanisms.
